| 冷切分为拉片冷切、挤片冷切、挤条冷切。拉片冷切是用开炼机塑化，冷却后用平板切粒机切粒，这种方法产量大，适合各种形状的塑料，但不适合黏度小和易于发生热氧降解的塑料。挤片挤条冷切是物料经过挤出机挤出料条或片，料条通过冷却水槽冷却，再利用风千机吹干料条表面的水分，通过牵引装置送至切粒机切粒。此类方法不易发生热氧降解。 Cold cutting can be divided into pulling sheet cold cutting, extruding sheet cold cutting and extruding strip cold cutting.
